Job summary

Orkin in Portsmouth, OH is seeking a hands-on pest control technician. Experience in construction, roofing, or home improvement is a plus, but no pest control background is required thanks to our paid training program.

You'll inspect and install pest protection, perform attic and crawlspace services, and keep equipment and reports up to date. Earn $20–$22 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits, a company vehicle, fuel card, and opportunities for advancement within a recession‑resistant industry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• Must wear PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator, as required.

Qualifications
