Job summary

Skillforce is seeking Construction Laborers for ongoing project work in Charleston, South Carolina. You will support the trades on commercial construction jobsites and perform material handling, site cleaning, and basic setup tasks.

Ideal candidates have jobsite experience, own PPE, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Weekly pay and W-2 employment are provided, with daytime hours on Monday–Friday across Charleston area projects.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction jobsites; commercial work preferred.
• Own PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, boots).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Charleston area jobsites.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying weather.
• OSHA 10/30 or safety certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move building materials, tools, and equipment around the jobsite.
• Keep work areas, walkways, and laydown areas clear of debris.
• Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades with daily tasks.
• Assist with light demolition, site cleanup, and material staging.
• Carry and stage material on each floor or area to keep trades moving.
• Set up and take down barricades, signage, and floor protection.
• Use basic hand and power tools under the crew lead.
• Follow jobsite safety rules and wear PPE at all times.

Skillforce is hiring Construction Laborers for ongoing project work in Charleston, South Carolina. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for supporting the trades on commercial construction jobsites. If you have jobsite experience and reliable transportation,

• $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on your experience, skill set, and certifications.
• W-2 employment with weekly pay.
• Monday through Friday on a morning shift.
• Daytime hours on commercial projects across the Charleston area.
• Load, unload, and move building materials, tools, and equipment around the jobsite.
• Keep work areas, walkways, and laydown areas clean and clear of debris.
• Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades with daily tasks.
• Assist with light demolition, site cleanup, and material staging.

Construction Laborer Qualifications:

• Previous experience working on construction jobsites, with commercial work preferred.
• Your own PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, a high-visibility vest, and work boots.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to jobsites around the Charleston area.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stay on your feet outdoors in changing weather.
• Comfortable taking direction from a crew lead and working as part of a team.
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30, or other safety certifications are a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
