Job summary

Northeast Power Dry in New Jersey is seeking an Emergency Restoration Technician to assist with emergency restoration after water damage, mold, and other property incidents. You will travel to residential and commercial properties as part of a focused team.

The position offers weekly pay, paid training, overtime, a 40+ hour week, company vehicle eligibility, and opportunities for advancement within a growing restoration company.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and reliable attendance.
• Comfort with physical work in diverse environments.
• Willingness to work overtime and participate in after-hours on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential and commercial properties for emergency restoration projects.
• Perform water extraction, mold remediation, drying, and cleanup.
• Set up, inspect, and monitor drying equipment; remove damaged materials safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and communicate professionally with homeowners and teammates.
• Support Crew Chiefs and contribute to timely, high-quality project completion.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential and commercial properties to assist with emergency restoration projects
• Perform water extraction, demolition, mold remediation, drying, and cleanup services
• Set up, inspect, and monitor drying equipment
• Safely remove damaged materials while following company procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and fellow team members
• Assist Crew Chiefs with project completion and daily job responsibilities
• Help ensure projects are completed efficiently and with high-quality workmanship

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required
• Dependable with strong attendance and a positive attitude
• Comfortable performing physical work in a variety of environments
• Able to lift equipment and work in crawlspaces, attics, and confined spaces
• Available to work overtime and participate in an after‑hours on‑call rotation
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills

Experience That Helps (Not Required)

• Construction or demolition

• Plumbing, carpentry, or other skilled trades

• IICRC certifications
