Meritage Homes is seeking summer 2027 interns across its divisions in 12 states to gain hands-on experience in the homebuilding industry. You’ll learn the full construction process, shadow leaders, and contribute to meaningful projects while growing your professional network.

Duration

10-12 weeks

What you’ll experience

• Learn the full new home construction process in active Meritage communities, from planning and scheduling to quality delivery including how teams help ensure homes are delivered within specific cycle times, budget targets are met, and customer quality expectations are achieved.
• Shadow and collaborate with construction leaders, subcontractors, city inspectors, and cross‑functional teams to see how projects come together.
• Apply classroom knowledge to real business situations and develop practical skills you can take into your career.
• Explore Meritage’s core values and see how they shape the way we build homes, support customers, and work as a team.
• Partner with other interns on meaningful projects focused on current business opportunities and challenges.
• Present your ideas and recommendations to senior leaders, gaining experience communicating with executives.
