Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking a student Intern focused on mechanical installations for hospitals, hotels and institutional facilities. The role provides hands-on experience while supporting project teams with data collection, reporting, and scheduling.

You will work under supervision to develop essential industry knowledge, contribute to ongoing projects, and participate in meetings. This paid internship requires a current enrollment in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering and reliable

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or related business major with a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior classification.
  • Reliable transportation to work daily.
  • Ability to be punctual and maintain a strong work ethic.
  • Must take initiative and produce quality work with urgency and productivity.
  • Ability to work independently with daily supervision and follow company procedures.
  • Safety-conscious with respect for tools, equipment and workplace safety.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create a master checklist of expectations and goals to guide the internship and evaluation.
  • Assist departments with project tasks, estimations, and business operations.
  • Participate in special tasks and collaborate with team and resources to complete them.
  • Gather information, create/update files, documents, spreadsheets, databases, reports and schedules.
  • Prepare reports and presentations as needed.
  • Attend departmental and jobsite meetings and learn the company procedures.

Overview

The Intern is a student with an interest in mechanical installations for hospitals, hotels and institutional facilities, who works during the internship to further education and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Creates a master checklist of expectations and goals to use as a guide throughout the internship and then used as an evaluation at completion.
  • Assists the departments and team with all aspects of the projects and estimating or business operations.
  • Participates in special tasks/projects and work with team and various resources to complete.
  • Assists by collecting information, creating and updating files, documents, spreadsheets, databases, reports and schedules.
  • Prepares reports and presentations as needed.
  • Attends departmental and jobsite meetings.
  • Performs tasks under the supervision of an Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, or departmental staff.
  • Participates in any learning experiences offered such as orientations, lunch & learns, outings, jobsite tours, safety inspections, etc.
  • Studies meeting notes, policies and procedures to learn the company way.
  • Attends the exit interview, providing feedback on the experience.
Qualifications
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or related business major with a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior classification.
  • Must have reliable transportation to work daily.
  • Ability to be punctual.
  • Must have a great attitude towards work and others.
  • Must be able to take initiative, provide quality work with a sense of urgency and reasonable productivity.
  • Must be able to work independently to complete tasks with daily supervision.
  • Must have respect for tools, equipment, supplies and be safety conscious.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements
