Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in the field or related training.
• Read/write/speak English fluently.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to pass fingerprint/background check.
• Construction field materials testing certifications (e.g., asphalt, concrete).
• Familiarity with PC/tablet systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and monitors construction sites to verify adherence to standards, codes, and specifications.
• Prepares daily reports documenting inspections and project information.
• Verifies lines and grades of project improvements.
• Coordinate and perform field testing of materials as required.
• Implements quantity calculations for pay estimates.
• Performs basic earthwork, grading, profiles, and special staking procedures.
• Communicates with contractor, owner, and stakeholders as directed.
