GFT is seeking Construction Inspectors to join our team for upcoming projects in the New Jersey area. You will be part of large-scale roadway and bridge transportation projects, ensuring quality, safety, and excellence in construction.

The role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $175,000, flexible working hours, and a comprehensive benefits package including wellness programs, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

  • 4-10 years of experience in bridge, tunnel, and aeronautical construction inspection.
  • OSHA 30-hr certified.
  • Driver's license and ability to obtain high SWAC clearance, SIDA card and/or Custom ID.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all testing/inspections in a timely manner following Gannett Fleming Quality Management Protocols.
  • Complete daily inspection reports.
  • Represent the client and Gannett Fleming professionally.
  • Report to the Resident Engineer for directions.

We are looking for Construction Inspectors for upcoming projects to join our growing team in the New York/New Jersey area. In this role, you’ll contribute to vital bridge, tunnel, and aeronautical projects, ensuring quality, safety, and excellence in construction. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all testing/inspections in a timely manner and adhere to Gannett Fleming Quality Management Protocols (QMP)
  • Complete daily inspection reports
  • Represent the client and Gannett Fleming interests in a professional manner and appearance
  • Report and take directions from the Resident Engineer
Education and Experience
  • BS – Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, preferred
  • ICC/NICET II, III, or IV Highway Construction
  • 4-10 years bridge, tunnel, and/or aeronautical construction inspection experience
  • OSHA 30-hr
  • Divers license and ability to obtain high SWAC clearance, SIDA card and/or Custom ID.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
  • In addition to night and weekend shift work, ability to stay late or come in early as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • BS – Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, preferred
  • ICC, NICET II, III, or IV, TCC, NJSAT, ACI, preferred
  • 4-10 years bridge, tunnel, and/or aeronautical construction inspection experience
  • OSHA 30-hr
  • Driver's license and ability to obtain high SWAC clearance, SIDA card and/or Custom ID.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Work schedule must be flexible to accommodate varying shifts (day, evening, weekend)
Compensation

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $175,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
