What You Will Do

GFT is seeking a Construction Engineering Inspector to join our Construction Services team in the Seattle area! At GFT, we’re not just engineering the future; we’re meticulously building it. What You’ll Be Challenged To Do

This position is responsible for reporting directly to construction sites to observe and document contractor’s work conforms to contract requirements, maintaining project files/documentation, compiling and calculating quantities of work performed to be used in calculating monthly contractor payments, and interacting with clients on a regular basis.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Prepare Daily Reports
  • Prepare Project Progress Reports
  • Monitor and Coordinate Quality Assurance Testing
  • Measure Quantities
  • Monitor Contractor Progress
  • Assist with Payment Applications and Change Orders
  • Assist with Project Filing SystemPerform Constructability Reviews
  • Address Technical issues in the field
Education | Experience

Preferred BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

Minimum high school degree with +2 years continued higher level education

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
