Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite at active construction projects, with approximately 80% of the work focused on commercial construction rather than transportation projects. Typical project locations are within the Tacoma, Seattle, and Bellevue areas, minimizing travel outside these regions and with scheduling efforts made to keep inspectors working as close to their homes as possible. The work involves regular presence on construction sites, use of inspection and testing equipment such as nuclear density gauges and other field instruments, and adherence to strict safety protocols and pre-task planning. Projects are often high profile, offering exposure to complex and notable builds.
