Alfred Benesch & Company is seeking a Construction Inspector to join our construction team in the Western Connecticut and southeastern New York region. This field-based role inspects, documents, and helps manage railroad infrastructure projects, with emphasis on railroad grade crossing safety improvements and related site work.
You will review budgets and schedules, perform observations, maintain field records, measure quantities, and communicate progress to project managers.

Benesch is in search of a dedicated Construction Inspector to join our Construction team, focusing on supporting Railroad Infrastructure Safety Improvement projects in the Western Connecticut and southeastern New York, United States region. In this role, you will contribute to strategic initiatives that drive the growth of the construction group by inspecting, documenting, and helping manage various infrastructure projects, primarily for railroad grade crossing safety improvement projects but potentially road, water main, and sewer construction, as well as play an important role in managing client relationships.
This role is field based, with work conducted at construction sites; office travel will be limited. Remote work is not anticipated during construction season and while construction activities are ongoing. Travel to various project sites within the Western Connecticut and southeastern New York, United States region is required.
