Job summary

TPD is hiring Construction Inspectors to grow knowledge on highway, roadway and bridge projects throughout NJ with agencies such as NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA, DRPA, DRJTBC, and/or experience with Local County and State agencies.

Responsibilities include observing construction, preparing reports and assisting with meeting project goals; candidates should have a civil engineering degree or at least 2 years of related inspection experience, with NICET and OSHA 10 considerations a bonus.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or at least 2 years of prior experience in Construction Inspection through internships or employment.
• NICET all Levels a plus but not required.
• ACI, NJSAT, TCC, CCTC, and/or OSHA 10 a plus but not required.
• Able to work overtime, some nights, or weekends as needed.
• Ability to drive to and from, on, or around a project site during all times of the day.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License
