Job summary

The LiRo Group is actively seeking an experienced Construction Inspector for NYSDOT projects in Buffalo, NY. This on-site role focuses on ensuring compliance with contract plans, standards, and safety requirements on highway and bridge work.

Ideal candidates hold NICET levels II–IV or a PE, have 5+ years of highway/bridge inspection, and bring NYSDOT project experience. Site Manager proficiency and related certifications are a plus, with a commitment to safe, quality construction practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of highway and/or bridge inspection experience.
• NICET Level II, III or IV or registered PE.
• Recent NYSDOT and/or Thruway project experience required.
• Proficient with Site Manager.
• ATSSA and ACI certification(s) a plus.
• AMPP, NACE or SSPC certification(s) a plus.
• Formal training in Work Zone Traffic Control (WZTC) a plus.
• NETTCP Soils and Aggregate Inspector Certification a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States and maintains current Driver’s License.

We have an immediate need for a Construction Inspector for NYSDOT Projects (NICET Level II, III or IV) located in Buffalo, NY

• Authorized to work in the United States and maintains current Driver’s License.
