Job summary

Richard Group is seeking an HSE Professional for its Dallas, TX project team. The role focuses on developing and reviewing the Accident Prevention Plan, AHAs/JHAs, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance across state and federal requirements.

You will coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and clients to conduct site inspections, trainings, and safety orientations while promoting proactive risk reduction and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, Construction Safety, Construction Management, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of construction HSE experience.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Outreach required.
• First Aid/CPR/AED required.
• CHST required at hire or after.
• EM 385-1-1 training when assigned to federal projects.
• Experience implementing HSE plans, AHAs/JHAs, inspections, and incident reporting.
• Experience with OSHA 1926, EM 385, subcontractor safety coordination, hazard recognition, injury management.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement site-specific Accident Prevention Plan (APP) for construction per EM 385 1-1.
• Create and review Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA) and Work Plans.
• Ensure safety submittals are created, submitted, and approved ahead of meetings.
• Be available on site for inspections and safety briefings.
• Provide project safety orientations and briefs.
• Document weekly safety meetings, inspections, deficiencies, and actions.
• Lead Near Miss and Incident Investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Develop and implement OSHA training programs.
• Oversee disposal of substances per environmental guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with statutes, regulations, and codes.
• Enforce safety and environmental policies.
