Job summary

Groundworks, North America's leader in foundation solutions, is seeking Installers to join our field teams in Knoxville. You will travel to residential or commercial sites to install equipment, troubleshoot issues, test systems, and clean up after completion.

This role offers hands-on construction work, safety-focused training, and competitive pay with a bonus per job. You’ll work outdoors in varying weather, support teammates, and contribute to projects that protect homes and assets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of trade-specific tools and proper equipment use.
• Prior construction industry experience.
• Valid, non-restrictive driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor tasks including digging, back-filling trenches, and site clean-up.
• Assist with installation of products and services under supervision.
• Load, carry, and deliver heavy materials to and from job sites.
• Enter crawl spaces and basements to perform repairs.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions while upholding safety standards.
• Follow company policies, including safety and workplace conduct.
• Support team goals and maintain professionalism and integrity on site.
• Report to work on time every day.

Installers are responsible for traveling to a residential or commercial building to install equipment, troubleshoot problems with the work assigned, test the equipment, and clean up the job after completion.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor tasks including digging, back‑filling trenches, and site clean‑up.
• Assist with the installation of products and services under supervision.
• Load, carry, and deliver heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) to and from job sites.
• Enter confined spaces such as crawl spaces and basements to perform repairs.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Follow instructions closely and adhere to company policies, including safety and workplace conduct.
• Foster teamwork by building positive relationships and supporting team goals.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and uphold the company’s reputation.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to ensure project success.
• It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in the construction industry
• Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license.
• Ability to Lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
