Job summary

Azuria Water Solutions is seeking Construction General Laborers in Orleans, IN to support water and sewer projects. You'll work with a Lead Groundman, Foreman, or independently to keep projects running safely. The starting pay is $35.00 per hour.

Role involves setup of safety systems, installing pipelines, testing, no-dig process familiarity, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional travel across Indiana. We offer competitive salary, per diem while traveling, benefits, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record; CDL preferred.
• Experience outdoors in construction or general labor.
• Experience in water and sanitary pipe industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing trench and excavation safety systems to maintain a safe work environment.
• Help set up and install underground utility pipelines for water, sewer, and storm lines.
• Support testing and sampling of installed utility pipelines to ensure quality and performance.
• Familiarize yourself with Indiana’s no-dig laws and the 811 process to stay compliant.
• Maintain general housekeeping, erosion control, and tool upkeep to keep the site organized and efficient.
• Operate equipment such as pipe saws, pumps, and impact wrenches to assist with project needs.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining traffic control systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Drive the crew truck to and from the job site when necessary.
• Take on additional tasks as needed to support the crew and project.

What We Need:

• Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record; CDL preferred.
• Experience working outdoors in the construction or general labor industry required.
• Experience in the water and sanitary pipe industry preferred.
• Knowledge of pipeline construction methods, techniques, and tools.
• Ability to perform tasks that require sitting, bending, standing, walking, and climbing; Ability to lift over 50 pounds when required.
• Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Ability to travel weekly throughout the state of Indiana.
