Job summary

Diversified Construction is seeking a dependable General Laborer to support our commercial construction projects throughout the Twin Cities area. This hands-on role involves working closely with Project Superintendents to help keep projects moving by tackling a variety of tasks on active sites.

Responsibilities include site cleanup, material handling, basic tool use, and assisting with inspections and turnovers.

Qualifications

• Dependable with reliable transportation and able to report to work on time.
• Willing to learn and follow directions on a busy construction site.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a crew.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred.
• Construction experience is helpful, but attitude and willingness to learn matter more.

Responsibilities

• Jobsite cleanup and maintaining a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Light demolition and removal of construction debris.
• Installation and adjustment of door hardware and other miscellaneous building components.
• Moving, loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment.
• Picking up and delivering materials, parts and supplies to jobsites; assisting with protection of finishes and prep work.
• Performing minor repairs, punch-lists and miscellaneous construction tasks.
• Assisting Superintendents and subcontractors as needed.
• Helping prepare jobsites for inspections, owner walkthroughs and project turnover.
• General maintenance and organization of jobsites.
• Performing other construction-related duties as assigned by the Project Superintendent.

Diversified Construction is seeking a dependable, hardworking General Laborer to support our commercial construction projects throughout the Twin Cities area.

This is a hands-on, varied position for someone who enjoys working in construction and is willing to jump in wherever needed. Our General Laborers work closely with our Project Superintendents and help keep projects moving by taking care of the many tasks that come up on an active construction site.

Responsibilities

• Jobsite cleanup and maintaining a clean, safe and organized work environment
• Light demolition and removal of construction debris
• Installation and adjustment of door hardware and other miscellaneous building components
