Job summary

A growing construction company in Montana is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee payroll and accounting functions. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of GAAP and experience in preparing financial statements. The position requires strong management skills and familiarity with Deltek/ComputerEase. Qualifications

• In depth knowledge of GAAP and financial statement disclosure requirements.
• Experience in understanding and preparing financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of construction job costing.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly payroll and reporting.
• Oversee asset and depreciation record-keeping.
• Monitor cash flow and projections.
• Coordinate with CPA for financial statements and tax preparation.

Skills

In depth knowledge of GAAP

Experience in preparing financial statements

Strong knowledge of construction job costing

Knowledge of electronic banking

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365

Ability to work independently

Ability to lead and manage department staff

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
