Job summary

Bryant Associates, Inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Inspector to join our construction management team.

The Inspector will perform on-site inspections of construction activities for public and private sector clients and ensure compliance with design documents, client standards, and applicable codes. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, documenting work, reviewing payment requisitions, and preparing daily reports while maintaining safety and quality to keep projects on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NICET Level Certification. Training provided if needed.
• 5 years of related water/wastewater or transportation project experience.
• OSHA 10-hour Training beneficial; training provided.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug checks.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with solid project management skills.
• Flexibility to work in fast-paced environments.
• Travel to local job sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates work with the contractor.
• Observes all phases of construction activities for compliance with design documents and client standards.
• Documents work as performed.
• Reviews contractor requisitions for payment.
• Prepares daily reports and attends progress meetings.
• Manages quality and safety of projects and ensures schedules are met.
