Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Construction Field Engineer in Milwaukee, WI to support the Wisconsin Construction Services Team. You will help ensure project plans and specifications are followed and support documentation for quality, payments, and acceptance.

You will read plans, coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors and vendors, and assist with scheduling, cost tracking, and risk reviews. Join a growing, safety‑focused firm delivering major community projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relative experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team is essential.
• Ability to work in this country immediately required.
• Adherence to safety policies and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily contract compliance with project plans and specifications and maintain documentation.
• Read, understand, and interpret project plans and contract documents.
• Identify issues in contract documents and refer to the Project Manager as appropriate.
• Coordinate communications between project manager, engineering team, management, contractors and vendors.
• Assist in reviewing contractor schedules and estimating resources; update planning throughout the project life cycle.
• Prepare reports detailing project costs, progress, risks, and opportunities for senior management.
