Responsibilities

• Provide quotes for potential work in construction.

• Assist with finding jobs and bid sites for posting.
• Review completed jobs to verify quote accuracy and profitability.
• Follow up with GCs and other personnel on quotes.
• Enter information about new potential jobs into the computer system.

Job description

Seeking a Construction Estimator for a construction company in the Chambersburg PA area.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Provide quotes for potential work in the construction field
  
• Looking for a very detailed person who can learn this industries specific software that quotes are generated in
• Person would also assist with finding jobs and jobsites/websites in which jobs are posted for bid purposes
• Review all completed jobs to determine accuracy of quotes and ensure profitability targets are hit
• Follow-up with GC's and other personnel about any questions on quotes
• Put all information about new potential jobs in computer system in the event company is awarded the job
• Help with scheduling of actual jobs that bids are awarded
  
• Assist with some Project Management
• Review work when done to ensure quotes were good and hitting needed margins on front end

Desired Education/Qualities:

• Someone with previous construction estimating experience preferred
• Person must be a very detailed oriented person
• Prefer someone who is very good with numbers
• Need a highly organized, self motivated individual for this position
• Position would work out of Chambersburg PA office
