Responsibilities

• Assist estimators with quantifying elements of construction.
• Generate earthwork volumes from PDF plans or 3D models.
• Create spreadsheets in Excel for quantity comparisons.
• Review contract documents and understand project scope.
• Complete takeoffs from incomplete design documents.
• Coordinate with other personnel for timely project comparisons.
• Maintain organized records of working drawings.
• Identify missing design elements in construction.
• Create exhibits for review purposes showing takedown assumptions.
