Job summary

Rice Companies in Glencoe, MN is seeking an Estimator to join our team. Estimators are responsible for assisting in all estimating functions, conceptual budgets, database maintenance and historical cost rates.

Qualifications

• Three or fewer years of relevant experience in design/build construction is preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and taking-offs is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work with estimators and project managers on design/build bids and RFPs.
• Build relationships with customers, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Solicit bids from subcontractors and vendors across CSI divisions 2-41.
• Read plans and specs to prepare detailed estimates and backups.
