Job summary

CDM Smith in Boston, MA is seeking a construction estimator/manager to support estimating, scheduling and project controls on a range of projects. You will research costs, prepare OPCCs, and coordinate with project teams for pricing and procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks, including quantity take-offs and cost research.
• Utilize Timberline to prepare Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC).
• Coordinate with project managers and procurement for pricing and materials.
• Develop project scheduling and financial analyses and spreadsheets for routine reporting.
• Provide technical guidance and training to more junior staff.
• Assist in change management and processing RFIs.
