Job summary

W3Global in Auburn, CA is seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates and manage the bid process from review through proposal delivery. The role requires on-site work and willingness to travel for site visits.

Candidates must have a minimum of three years estimating experience and be able to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and subcontractor SOWs. Procore and Master Builder experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of estimating experience.
• Must be a current Estimator or have directly related estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Willingness to travel for site visits.
• Ability to work on-site in Auburn, CA (not remote).

Responsibilities

• Manage entire bid process from initial scope review through client delivery.
• Review drawings and specifications to develop subcontractor SOWs for bidding.
• Coordinate with Project Manager in creation of project schedules.
• Develop final proposals and budgets for management approval.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids for conformance to project specs, price and quality.
• Perform site visits/work as necessary.
• Set up and maintain project information in Procore and Master Builder.
• Provide CADs to subcontractors during design or as deferred approval.
• Issue NTPs and subcontracts after purchase orders are received.
