Job Description

The Senior Estimator will report directly to the VP of Estimating. Below is a non-exhaustive list of the key role responsibilities is detailed below;

• Leading on all construction, refurbishment and maintenance pricing.
• Supporting the team with decision making on which contracts and opportunities to bid for.
• Researching materials, equipment and labour costs and ensuring price submissions are competitive.
• Understanding the true cost and productivity of the services that is offered and ensure they are factored into the bid/price.
• Helping with bids and for new contracts and supporting the buying activities.
• Working closely with the Buyer to ensure best value is being obtained from the supply chain.
• Supporting Directors at developing bid and growth strategies.
• To demonstrate the core Values, Customer Focus, High Performance, Efficiency and VFM, Teamwork, Ambition and Dynamism, Openness and Honesty.
• To actively pursue own development and take advantage of learning and development opportunities.
