Job summary

Afflatus LLC in Utah is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to lead bidding and cost control for public and private sector projects. You will review plans, perform takeoffs, and coordinate with field teams from bid through completion.

The role combines estimating with project management oversight, ensuring cost accuracy, schedule adherence, and compliant project delivery in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of project management or estimating experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain required licenses and a valid driving record.
  • Strong understanding of construction estimating and project execution workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Review project specifications and drawings; conduct site visits to determine scope; perform quantity takeoffs and prepare accurate bid proposals.
  • Assist in managing awarded contracts; coordinate with field leadership and superintendents to establish objectives and schedules.
  • Track project costs and production metrics; assist with billing, subcontractor payments, and change order processing.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance; troubleshoot material/equipment issues; ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.

Role Overview

This role is responsible for estimating, bidding, and managing construction projects across public and private sectors. Key Responsibilities
