Job summary

Kingspan Insulated Panels North America, a division of the Kingspan Group plc, is seeking an Estimator for our Deland, FL office. This in-office role requires collaboration with Regional Sales Managers to generate accurate quotations from project documents and material lists.

The candidate will perform takeoffs, advise on product offerings, and coordinate with Sales, Drafting, and Customer Service to ensure timely quotes. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Technical, Architectural, or Engineering degree or 4 years of applicable industry experience.
• 2+ years of estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Experience with insulated/metal panel construction is a plus.
• Salesforce and Bluebeam experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and mathematical skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and problem-solve with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide Kingspan Insulated Panel quotations to Regional Sales Managers and customers from project documents and material lists.
• Provide budgetary and firm price quotes within the customer's time frames.
• Perform detailed material takeoffs when project documents are provided.
• Coordinate quoting efforts and strategies with sales reps as required.
• Maintain quotation logs and communicate knowledge used in winning quotes to Drafting and Customer Service.
• Assist in utilizing appropriate KIP product offerings for specific applications.
• Support RSMs in scheduling and handoffs during project bookings.

• This is an in-office position (5 days in office, not remote/WFH).

Summary

Provide Kingspan Insulated Panel (KIP) project quotations to Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) (& their customers) from supplied project documents and/or material lists. Support RSM's needs to provide both budgetary and firm price quotes within the customer’s time frames.

• Provide accurate pricing for various panel/product types on time.
• Perform detailed material takeoffs when provided with sufficient project documents.
• Assist RSM, as necessary, regarding the utilization of proper KIP product offerings for specific applications.
• Coordinate quoting efforts and strategies with sales reps as required.
• Provide information to Customer Service when a project is booked & participate in handoff meetings with Drafting as required to communicate knowledge used in the winning quote.
• Cross-reference/note details and conditions shown within project documents with Kingspan Insulated Panels standards.
• Maintain organized quotation logs and files, so they may be accessed quickly for reference.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Technical, Architectural, or Engineering degree or 4 years of applicable industry experience.
• 2+ years of estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Ability to understand and interpret project specifications, addenda, special provisions, and all other applicable project documents.
• Experience with insulated/metal panel construction is a plus
• SALESFORCE experience is a plus.
• BLUEBEAM experience is a plus
• Excellent organizational and mathematical skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and problem-solve with minimal supervision.
