Job summary

Turnkey Technical Services LLC is seeking a qualified professional to provide Project Control, Estimating and Scheduling support for the NNSA Capital Projects mission. The role includes estimating costs and scheduling, and coordinating with estimators, schedulers and management.

Ideal candidates will review resource inputs, advise on sequence and durations, and contribute to risk-informed scheduling for milestones and PBIs, while assisting technical writers with BOEs, BOS and WBS data dictionary.

Qualifications

• Requires expert proficiency in automated accounting, cost management, scheduling and estimating systems.
• Experience with Site Business systems.
• Knowledge of project management and cost/schedule control at the tactical level.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to estimators on resources (labor and non-labor) required to perform the scope of work.
• Provide input to schedulers on sequence, durations, and logic of activities.
• Provide input to management regarding risk-informed schedules to establish milestones and PBIs.
• Assist technical writers with BOEs, BOS, and WBS data dictionary.

Turnkey Technical Services is a Women-Owned, Small Business specializing in comprehensive engineering and technical support services associated with commercial nuclear power and other Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear activities.

Duration:

12 months or more with possible extension(s)

Summary:

Provide Project Control, Estimating and Scheduling support services to the NNSA Capital Projects mission. This includes tasks such as estimating costs and scheduling.

Review and provide input to estimators on resources (labor and other-than-labor) needed to perform the scope of work Provide input to schedulers on sequence, durations, and logic of activities Provide input to management regarding risk-informed schedules to serve as the basis for establishing milestones and PBIs.

Provide input to technical writers for BOEs, BOS, and WBS data dictionary

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Master's degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or a related area and 5 years of practical experience. Bachelor's degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or a related area and 7 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent. An Associate's degree and 11 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent. A high school diploma and 15 years of relevant experience would also be considered equivalent.

Experience/Skills:

• Requires expert proficiency in the use of automated accounting, cost management, scheduling and estimating systems as tools for performing required duties.
• practical experience in the use of the Site Business systems.
• A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of project management and cost and schedule control at the tactical level would be necessary, along with a knowledge of operations, maintenance, or project startup and construction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred.
• Working knowledge of Success Estimating software
