Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking an Equipment Operator in Jessup, MD to safely operate a range of heavy equipment and ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and secure storage in line with company policies.

You will perform daily safety and maintenance checks, assist foreman with repairs, maintain inventory, and work outdoors in varied weather. The role requires at least 3 years' experience and the ability to wear PPE, bend, lift and work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in equipment operating and maintenance.
• Able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively to minimize risk.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Clean heavy equipment and store securely.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and tools.
• Advise Foreman of maintenance or repair needs.
• Participate in routine maintenance and safety practices.
