Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Operator to operate a range of heavy equipment in accordance with safety policies and procedures. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and precise operation while maintaining equipment and following pre-task plans.

Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, identifying malfunctions, and complying with all safety regulations. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to work with a diverse team on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related experience.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Current driver’s license with endorsements as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift/telehandler, crane, bobcat/skid-steer, boom lifts/aerial lifts, roller, backhoe, and track crane.
• Follow prescribed safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly housekeeping.
• Perform routine maintenance, observe equipment operation, and detect malfunctions.
• Follow work plans and pre-task cards.
• Build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
