Job summary

Flatiron Construction Corp in the United States is seeking a Construction Engineer to draft and analyze temporary works designs ensuring constructability with project documents and regulatory requirements. You will focus on practical design of falsework, shoring, temporary bridges, formwork and slopes, aligning with contract specs.

Responsibilities include submitting designs for peer review, ensuring timely approvals, and sealing final designs with manager sign-off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or related Engineering field required.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) preferred.
• Internal Training Crane level I and II preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, RISA suite, LARSA and MathCAD are a plus.
• Knowledge and skill in technical writing for clear and efficient communication and understanding.
• Knowledge and understanding of constructability and construction practices.
• Verbal, written and interpersonal skills required.

Overview

Are you a self-motivated Engineer looking to make a significant impact on our projects? As a Construction Engineer, you will draft and analyze temporary works designs to ensure constructability with contract documents, specifications and regulatory requirements.

The Construction Engineering Group focuses on the "how" when it comes to constructing the work. This team of specialized engineers has extensive experience in designing and constructing various temporary works.

What you will be doing
