Job summary

The Great Lakes Construction Co. is looking for a full-time Construction Engineer to join their team in Kentucky. This integral position involves collaborating with the Construction Design Engineer on project designs, ensuring safety and quality while supporting various engineering tasks.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields, possess a valid driver's license, and have significant experience in project engineering, particularly within heavy civil construction. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Engineer License, or working to obtain an Engineer Intern Certification.
• Previous experience as a Project Engineer.
• Experience in heavy civil construction or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and produces designs and design submittals for all company projects.
• Assists the estimating department to develop conceptual designs.
• Conducts regular site visits to ensure design conformance.
