Essential Job Duties
  • Effectively communicate with client, contractor(s) and project stakeholder(s)
  • Schedule and assist with field inspections and project documentation
  • Manage project subconsultants
  • Lead team to provide QA for construction management projects
  • Provide constructability reviews, construction cost estimates and construction schedules for design projects
  • Ensure the project adhere to all plans and regulations
  • Ensure safety measures are appropriately taken throughout the life of the project
Required Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or other related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience required
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a Construction Engineer on capital improvement/transportation projects of similar size and complexity
  • Considerable Heavy/Highway construction industry knowledge with emphasis on state requirements and the Greenbook
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends and nights
  • PMP or CCM Certification a plus.
  • Design-build experience a plus
  • Background and motor vehicle check required
