Job summary

Concrete Frame Associates in Denver, CO is seeking a Construction Engineering Intern ( Juniors or Seniors ) pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil, construction engineering, or construction management. You will assist the project team with sequencing, scheduling, formwork layouts, and field support to ensure safe, economical designs.

The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, attention to detail, and timely communication with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist project team in defining sequential steps and adapting schedules.

• Prepare formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for field crews.
• Monitor safety, cost, and scheduling on construction projects.
• Troubleshoot structural design concerns with the project team.

Job description

The Construction Engineering Intern role is for Juniors or Seniors pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil, or construction engineering.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist the project team in establishing the sequential steps involved in all processes with the scope of the project, and adapts schedules and work tasks accordingly
• Supports the planning and estimating stage of projects to ensure the most efficient, safe, and economical form systems are incorporated into the project design
• Assist with supporting the preparation of accurate formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for field crews
• Work closely with the project team monitoring the safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve concerns regarding structural design with project team
• Perform special projects and complete all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

• In the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM Modeling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors
• Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information regarding plan layouts, material deliveries, and jobsite productivities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Basic knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations

Hourly Pay Range:$24.00 - $26.50, depending on relevant experience and education. This position will remain open until filled.
