SPATCO DEF, a division of Southern Pump & Tank Co., is seeking a Construction Foreman in the Jackson, MS area. In this role, you will coordinate job duties, delegate tasks, and ensure safety compliance while working closely with various teams. The foreman will lead crews in a dynamic environment and requires experience in managing construction tasks in different weather conditions.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, construction experience, and be capable of operating heavy machinery. Benefits include paid holidays and a 401K match.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of construction experience running crews and sub-contractors, preferably in Petroleum Construction.
• 40hr OSHA training is a plus.
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate job duties and delegate tasks to construction workers.
• Ensure safe work practices and housekeeping are followed.
• Monitor labor and sub-contractor costs to maintain project budgets.
• Document daily activities and maintain positive working relationships.
• Operate heavy equipment and work with concrete and framing.
