Job summary

Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal (KRSM) offers Co-op/Intern positions designed to bridge classroom learning with real-world construction experience. Students will be placed in entry-level roles across projects as needed and will receive mentorship from experienced staff.

At the end of the internship, students complete an evaluation of their experience, and KRSM highlights the program as a cornerstone of workforce development.

Qualifications

• To familiarize students with the construction industry and its processes.
• To introduce students to the complex interrelationships which exist in construction.
• To expose students to the management functions within Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal.
• To aid students in acquiring specific job skills that will enhance their value to the industry.

Responsibilities

• The company will position the student in entry-level roles or combinations thereof as needed.
• Each month during the assignment, the student will be evaluated by their mentor.
• At the end of the Co-op/Internship, the student will complete an evaluation of their experience with Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal.
