Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Clean driving record and DOT medical card preferred
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
• Experience hauling construction materials or equipment is a plus
• Familiarity with load securement and safe operating practices

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment to job sites and yards
• Load and unload trucks using proper methods
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and DOT compliance
• Maintain delivery logs and trip documentation
• Follow schedules and dispatch directions
• Secure loads using chains, binders, tarps, or straps
• Comply with transportation regulations
• Assist crews with labor or site tasks when deliveries are complete
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
