Job summary

Vergara Homes is a design-build firm focusing on luxury home design and residential construction in the NYC metro area. We seek construction associates who are passionate about the field and eager to contribute to renovation projects while working closely with multiple teams.

You will support projects from initial concepts through to completion, with hands-on involvement on-site, and opportunities to influence project outcomes through practical input and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Atleast 1-3 years of experience in construction or laboring roles.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specs.
• Experience with coordinating trades and site safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist projects from concept design through construction completion.
• Visit job sites regularly to verify design compliance and safety.
• Coordinate installation of materials, equipment and fixtures.
• Collaborate with design and construction teams to translate schematics into plans.
• Read blueprints and perform field measurements when needed.
• Lead or participate in project meetings to discuss progress.
