Job summary

Jobtailor, based in Arizona, seeks an attorney with 2+ years in construction law to handle claims litigation and arbitration within the Construction Business Unit. You will prepare contracts for owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals, and collaborate with a legal team on advocacy efforts.

Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting motions, managing courtroom filings, and ensuring meticulous contract work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction experience
• Courtroom experience including file handling, motions, and deposition experience
• Strong advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills
• Prior experience handling construction claims including litigation and arbitration
• Preparation of construction industry contracts for owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Highly organized
• Currently licensed to practice law in Arizona
