Job summary

Superior is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support electrical construction projects at a jobsite in Conesville, Ohio. You will assist with scheduling, bidding, contract administration, and on-site coordination, reporting to the Project Manager.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of field or project experience on a commercial site or a degree/certificate in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or related field; OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of field or project experience on a commercial construction site or a related degree/certificate.
• Bonus points for experience supporting Project Operations.
• Bonus points for OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFI creation and submission and integrate RFIs into project documents.
• Coordinate with vendors on the submittal process lifecycle.
• Assist with change orders creation, submission, and management.
• Capture work progress by updating contracts and photographing the site.
• Monitor schedule and provide updates to leadership.
• Work with the Foreman on material delivery to site.
• Lead project close-out including documentation and warranties.
• Develop understanding of project finance with operations and finance teams.

Description

• Pay Range: $65,000 - $110,000

Superior is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help drive our electrical construction projects forward. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for helping make operations on-site more efficient and will play a key role in our contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions. This role is based on a jobsite in Conesville, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the creation and submission of RFI’s and ensure that all RFI’s are integrated into project documentation
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on the lifecycle of the project submittal process
• Support with the creation, submission, and management of change orders
• Capture the progress of our work by updating contract documents and photographing the jobsite
• Monitor the project schedule and provide ongoing updates to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership
• Work closely with the Foreman on delivery of materials and equipment to the jobsite
• Lead project close-out, including documentation, warranties, waivers, as-builds, and attic stock
• Develop an understanding of project finance, working closely with Project Operations and Finance leadership

Your Expertise

• Required: You have at least 1 year of field or project experience on a commercial construction site (including relevant internship experience), or a degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field — or a Construction Management certificate
• Bonus Points: You have prior experience supporting commercial construction projects in a Project Operations role
• Bonus Points: You hold an active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
