Job summary

Pride Resource Partners, LLC, a Think Power Solutions Company, seeks a highly skilled Constructability Review Specialist to provide advanced field oversight and QA for substation maintenance, construction, testing, and commissioning activities within high-voltage electrical facilities.

The role supports the design manager and owner authorized representative during the preconstruction phase. Remote work with some field support may be required.

Qualifications

  • 15 years of full-time professional paid experience with an Architecture degree.
  • 10 years acting as a Construction Administrator.
  • 5 years acting as a Designer.
  • Public/educational facility projects with $8M+ value (single) or $80M+ cumul.
  • 15 years as Project Superintendent/PM on large projects with $30M+ single and $400M+ cumul.
  • Two years college coursework plus five years of additional experience may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in defining and reviewing the Project Requirement Document scope of work and schedule including interim housing requirements.
  • Makes value engineering recommendations at the outset of the design.
  • Comments on the design professional’s deliverables identifying inconsistencies, ambiguities, conflicts, errors and omissions to reduce RFIs and Change Orders.
  • Ensure documents are coordinated between design disciplines.
  • Prepares comprehensive constructability review of pre-bid construction documents.
  • Coordinates with Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Pride Resource Partners, LLC, a Think Power Solutions Company, highly skilled and knowledgeable Constructability Review Specialist to provide advanced field oversight and quality assurance for substation maintenance, construction, testing, and commissioning activities within high-voltage electrical facilities.

This role supports the design manager and owner authorized representative during the preconstruction phase.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists in defining and reviewing the Project Requirement Document scope of work and schedule including interim housing requirements
  • Makes value engineering recommendations at the outset of the design
  • Comments on the design professional’s deliverable identifying inconsistencies, ambiguities, conflicts, errors and omissions in the progress plans to reduce RFIs and Change Orders
  • Ensure documents are coordinated between design disciplines.
  • Prepares comprehensive constructability review of pre-bid construction documents
  • Coordinates the above efforts with the Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative in a collaborative way
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and confidently
  • Proficiency in writing RFC’s, as well as reviewing submittals and change orders
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam
Requirements
  • 15 years’ full-time professional paid experience with an Architecture degree and the following:
  • a. 10 of those years must be acting as a Construction Administrator
  • b. 5 years remaining must be acting as a Designer.
  • c. Construction Administrator experience shall be on a public/educational facility construction project with full responsibility for supporting those projects.
  • d. Projects shall have a construction value of $8M or more for a single project or with a combined cumulative project value of $80M.
OR
  • 15 years full time paid professional experience as a Project Superintendent or Project Manager on a public/educational facility construction and/or large commercial projects with full responsibility for coordinating complex projects with construction value of a single project in excess of $30M with a combined cumulative project value of $400M.
OR
  • Minimum of two (2) years of college level coursework from a recognized college, university or trade school and five (5) years additional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.
