Job summary

WindBorne Systems in Atlanta is looking for a talented individual to manage operations involving next-generation weather balloons. You will lead end-to-end performance across projects, coordinate military exercises, and oversee groundbreaking weather data collection operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to write procedures when they do not exist.
• Interest in balloons, atmospheric science, and defense tech.
• Experience in handling customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational performance across various projects.
• Coordinate military exercises with multiple teams.
• Oversee responses to tropical storms, ensuring safe data collection.
• Manage the rollout of new hardware like ocean sensing buoys.
• Travel globally for unusual operations related to balloon recovery.
