Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a CFL Science & Planning Specialist for the Chattahoochee Fall Line program in Georgia. This hybrid role focuses on developing and advancing conservation strategies, coordinating with program leadership, and supporting land protection and stewardship initiatives.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in natural resource management and have GIS experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently to meet timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience in natural resource management or related field.
• Experience with ArcGIS software.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and web browsers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and advance conservation programs, plans and methods for the CFL program.
• Collaborate with CFL Program Director and other managers to advance program goals.
• Coordinate multiple projects and ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide technical leadership and support to the CFL program and Georgia business unit.
