Job summary

National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) partners with NRCS to place experienced workers aged 55+ in the ACES program, delivering technical and professional support for conservation projects in Grayson, KY.

This non-federal role is funded through a cooperative agreement and focuses on assisting NRCS staff with contracting, data collection, and program administration while enabling field operations to respond to emergencies and high-priority needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of experience in conservation OR a BA/BS in biology, agriculture, or natural resources.
• Experience with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Conservation Desktop and Protracts software.

Responsibilities

• Assist field staff to support program contract obligations and maintenance.
• Provide technical contracting guidance and coordinate with NRCS staff.
• Help with contract reviews, reminders, terminations and violations.
• Support data collection, tracking, and communications related to contracts.
