Job summary

CBCF State Farm Communications Internship Program 2026 offers in-person placement in various congressional offices, committees, subcommittees, or federal agencies from August 22 to December 13, 2026. Interns receive housing and a $4,000 stipend, paid biweekly in $500 installments.

Eligibility includes a minimum 2.5 GPA, U.S. citizenship or work permit for the duration, full-time availability, and no graduate degree by start date. The program runs during fall and spring terms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• U.S. citizenship or permit to work in the U.S. for duration of program
• Available to participate full-time upon acceptance
• Cannot yet have a graduate degree
• Cannot be enrolled in classes for duration of program
• Must have familiarity with the federal legislative process, the U.S. Congress, the Congressional Black Caucus and its members, and related policy
• Must have superior analytical skills
• Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills
