Stinson LLP is seeking a professional to support ethics and risk management operations. This role involves analyzing conflicts for new hires and businesses, drafting conflict waivers, and supporting legal compliance activities.
Qualified candidates must hold a Juris Doctor and an active bar license, with at least 3 years of law firm experience. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This position reports to the General Counsel of the Firm and supports critical ethics and risk management operations of the firm. The incumbent conducts conflicts analysis for new hires and new business in addition to supporting various legal compliance and professional responsibility activities conducted by Firm Counsel (General Counsel and Assistant General Counsels). This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the responsibilities of the position, work environment characteristics are representative of the environment the person in this position will encounter. The employee may need to work additional hours to complete tasks. Physical demands include talking, hearing, sitting, using hands and fingers, occasional standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
