Orrick Herrington & Suttcliffe is seeking a Conflicts Analyst II to support compliance and risk management for potential new business. The role involves reviewing submissions, researching entities, and ensuring firm policy compliance.
Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in conflicts analysis, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work with attorneys and staff across levels. West Coast hours and remote options are available.
Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for a Conflicts Analyst II. This position could be based in any of our U.S. West Coast offices (Los Angeles, Menlo Park, Orange County, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, Santa Monica, or Seattle) with consideration given for 100% remote U.S. locations if willing to work West Coast hours.
The Objective: The Conflicts Analyst II assists the Firm and its attorneys with compliance and risk management related to potential new business.
What will I do? You will review, research, and analyze new business and conflict submissions to identify potential ethical or business conflicts of interest and to ensure compliance with Firm policies and strategies. You will provide clear communication to firm attorneys and staff to resolve potential conflict and compliance issues. You will research corporate entities and family tree structures to determine related entities and run additional reports utilizing international business compliance software as needed.

The expected salary range for this position is based on the Firm's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job‑related factors that may include, but are not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, and geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by the Firm and individual performance.
