Job summary

Proskauer Rose LLP is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join the Firm’s Conflicts Department. This role will assist with conflicts searching and clearances associated with new business intake, lateral hires and business development across the Firm.

Responsibilities include identifying and clearing conflicts, consulting with partners and attorneys, researching entity relationships, and supporting KYC and ethical walls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of conflicts of interest research and resolution experience.
• Experience with InTapp Open/Conflicts and LegalKey preferred.
• Experience in a major law firm or financial institution environment preferred.
• Proficient at researching ownership via public sources and Capital IQ.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, resolve and clear potential/actual conflicts for new business intake and lateral hires.
• Consult with partners, conflicts attorneys and GC office to facilitate clearance.
• Search, analyze and report conflicts using conflict reporting tools.
• Research entity relationships and personnel using affiliation platforms.
• Generate and circulate conflicts reports for firm-wide use.
• Assist KYC functions with screening considerations.
• Integrate findings with conflicts resolution systems.
• Follow up to obtain clearances, waivers and engagement letters.
• Assist in implementing Ethical Walls and maintain workflow processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
