Job summary

Morrison Foerster seeks a Conflicts Analyst for the Conflicts/New Business team. The role supports production and review of conflict of interest reports and sanctions screenings, with research across external databases and internal systems.

The position focuses on accuracy, timely responses, and strong client service in a law firm setting. The role may be based in New York or San Francisco, offering exposure to a broad range of matters and compliance requirements in a leading global firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of conflicts or legal assistant experience required.
• Intapp Conflicts experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft applications required.

Responsibilities

• Produce and review conflict reports and identify potential conflicts of interest and sanctions issues.
• Conduct factual research on client and parties to Firm matters using corporate structure and government sanctions lists.
• Review new requests and return results using the Firm’s workflow system.
• Independently analyze the report with limited guidance from Conflicts Coordinators.
• Submit the conflicts analysis results to attorneys and secretaries via the workflow system.
