Akerman is seeking a Conflicts Analyst (or Senior Conflicts Analyst depending on experience) to join the firm’s Conflicts Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment analyzing and researching data associated with potential new business and new employees while contributing to the success of the firm. The Conflicts Analyst works closely with attorneys and team members of the Conflicts Department to identify possible ethical and business‑related conflicts of interest. If you are an intelligent and curious individual who also enjoys research and variety each day, and would like to put your strong oral and written communication skills to good use, then this is definitely the job for you. The ideal individual will have a collaborative mindset, an acute attention to detail, and work well under pressure, but also understand the meaning of exceptional customer service. The position requires critical thinking, strong judgment, and decision‑making skills to be able to research and seek out potential issues with bringing on new business and new employees to the firm. This position requires availability for a regular late‑day schedule ending between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Typical schedules include 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., 10:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m., or 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. ET.
